Jessie J
Jessica Ellen Cornish (also known as Jessie J) is an English music producer and a singer. Jessie's unique musical style, which combines soul vocals electronic pop, pop, and hip-hop, has gained her not just fame but also recognition from a young age. Her work has earned her numerous nominations and awards, such as the 2011 'Critics' Choice Brit Award' as well as the BBC's Sound of 2011.' The career of Jessie began at the young age of 11 after she got a role in 'Whistle Down the Wind,' one of the musicals written by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. She was in 2002 when she appeared on the "National Youth Music Theatre" performance of "The late sleepers." Her debut album "Who You Are" was launched in February of 2011. She became famous that year. In the UK alone the album sold 105,000 units, and in the US it was 34,000. It also debuted at number 2 on the UK Albums Chart' as well in the top 11 spot on the 'US Billboard 200.' Jessie is also famous for her work with charities, and has been involved with charities such as Children in Need' and 'Comic Relief.'
