Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. Bella Poarch's grandmother lived within the slums of Manila up to the time she reached three. Her adoptive father, a Philippine-American from a military background, is white and American. She said that both her and her brother who was adopted had been subject to abuse from the time when she was just a child, until the time she joined up. They lived with their Uncle at San Francisco for several months before moving back to Texas on her 13th birthday due to the necessity for her father to undergo bypass surgery. She says the physical violence subsided after a few months, but she was still forced to deal with emotional abuse from her father. She became a part of in the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch started her TikTok page in April, 2020. In less than 8 months, she had amassed over 40 million followers. The account was home to a variety of videos, but her biggest hit was a music video featuring Millie B's viral song Soph Aspin Send. It became one of TikTok's most popular videos. The clip zoomed in to show her dancing rhythmically, while lip-syncing to the track became viral. After joining TikTok she created an account on YouTube and Twitter account to take advantage of her fame. Her fame grew rapidly around the month of the month of December in 2020. It was reported that she drew the attention of two big professional Esports organisations. FaZe Clan & 100 Thieves each expressed interest in bringing on the content creator to work as part of their brand.
